the best of yesterday

Two things happened that made me question a lot about myself...

Me: My phone is gross.
Awndrey: Maybe you should wash your hands or somethin.
Me: Dude. I wash my hands A LOT.
Awndrey: Well, Miss Dansie...maybe you should use soap!
Me: Seriously Awndrey? I use more soap than our whole class does put together.
Awndrey: Well, maybe you should do this with your hands [he starts to rub them together] and sing the ABC song or somethin.
Me: PowerHour is over. Go.

THEN....

I sat down on the edge of the table.
Tyler: Miss Dansie, you should be totally careful.
Me: Why...?
Tyler: Well, when you put somethin heavy on the edge of the tables in movies they foing up on the other end.  And....you're pretty heavy.
Me: Excuse me?
Tyler: Huh?
Me: Don't tell girls they're heavy. It makes them feel weird.
Tyler:  Oh.  Okaaaaaay.
